HomePromotionHamilton BeLOWZERO Watch Featured In Nolan’s New Movie Tenet PromotionHamilton BeLOWZERO Watch Featured In Nolan’s New Movie Tenet And you can own a special edition of the same model by Balazs Ferenczi June 30, 2020 MIN READHamilton BeLOWZERO Watch Featured In Nolan’s New Movie TenetHamilton is no stranger to Hollywood super productions. The brand with American Spirit and Swiss Precision has been on the wrists of the silver screen stars for decades. 2020 brings us yet another collaboration by British film director Christopher Nolan and Hamilton. The movie is Tenet, and the watch is the Khaki Navy BeLOWZERO.
Many of us remember Agent Jay and Kay in the 1997 sci-fi comedy Men In Black (played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones) sporting the quirky/futuristic-looking Hamilton Ventura watches. Who can blame them? Even Elvis loved the Ventura, after all. Or how can we forget the most popular Hamilton of recent years, the Murph? This very model took its name from one of the main ..

Hands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Auto Wristwatch

HomeHands-OnHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Auto Wristwatch Hands-OnHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Auto Wristwatch Splashdown in the green grotto by Ben Hodges June 12, 2020 MIN READHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Auto WristwatchPerhaps it has something to do with the universality of stainless steel dive watches, but whenever I see one for the first time, I can always picture it on my wrist immediately. There’s something about the form-fitting lines of a purpose-made dive watch that naturally transports it to my wrist within my imagination. The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba is no different.
It all comes down to points of reference. I enjoyed writing about the MB&F Bulldog, but I had no concept of the wearing experience. However, the proportional scale of the Khaki Navy Scuba Auto allows it to adapt to any possible situation.

Dive cred for under 700 EurosThe stainless steel bracelet has quite a bit more character than one might expect to find on such a ..

Hands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto

HomeHands-OnHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto Hands-OnHamiltonHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto A lightweight field watch by Robert-Jan Broer April 30, 2020 MIN READHands-On With The Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium AutoThis article is a hands-on review of the Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto that has been introduced this year. Even though I love (and ordered) the new Hamilton PSR, my favorite Hamilton watches are its military-inspired pieces. Hamilton has a solid track record when it comes to military watches, the brand supplied them for over 100 years.
Producing a military watch isn’t just a matter of designing a legible dial. You need to make sure a watch keeps ticking when you’re in the trenches or dropping from the sky. Now, today’s warfare looks quite different from a few decades ago, of course. However, people like to have a military-inspired watch for many reasons, and I don’t think warfare is one. It is the toughness of these watches, the l..

Hamilton PSR — The Legendary LED Watch Is Back With A Bang

HomeHot TakeHamilton PSR — The Legendary LED Watch Is Back With A Bang Hot TakeHamiltonHamilton PSR — The Legendary LED Watch Is Back With A Bang A space age classic that changed the way we tell time by Balazs FerencziMarch 18, 2020 MIN READHamilton PSR — The Legendary LED Watch Is Back With A BangHamilton is going to shake things up again with their new release, the PSR. A timepiece that, back in the ’70s, brought the space-age era to the dusty watchmaking tables of traditional Swiss watch ateliers is making a comeback. It was the hottest thing on the market back then. And I have to say the new one is not too bad either.
The original Pulsar came out in 1970, exactly 50 years ago. To celebrate this anniversary, Hamilton releases the PSR, a remarkable reinterpretation of the iconic ’70s quartz wonder. On the outside, the watch shows a striking resemblance to the vintage model. Inside, however, you find a quartz movement that has been reworked to meet 21st-century expectations.

Hands-On Debut: Hamilton Pulsar Revived With New PSR Digital Watch

The Hamilton Pulsar was a legend as the first digital watch ever made back when it was released in the early 1970s. Hell, it was on James Bond’s wrist in Live and Let Die all the way back in 1973, not to mention actual people like Elvis, Jack Nicholson, and Elton John. The space age design and LED screen of the Pulsar P2 made it a huge hit through the 1970s, though its popularity did wane with more competitors in the space emerging. The Pulsar name no longer belongs to the brand, which is we now see the release of the Hamilton PSR digital watch.
The Original Hamilton Pulsar P1
The Hamilton Pulsar P2
The PSR is introduced in two versions that mimic the Pulsar P2, which was the version that came after the P1. The first Pulsar was the P1, which was solid gold, cost $2,100 (which is more than $13,000 today), and was limited to 400 pieces. Fortunately, Hamilton chose to settle for gold PVD plating with the PSR reissue, which is limited to 1970 pieces..

Hands-On: Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Watch In Green Is A Standout Value Proposition

Hamilton’s Khaki Navy Scuba auto is a casual and low-key value proposition that now is being offered in the color of the moment: green. The Khaki Navy Scuba packs a lot into the $695 price tag as a classic diver in an olive green color scheme that hits the right notes and will age pretty well, even when green isn’t so on-trend. The collection was introduced a few years back in 2017 and has flown under the radar somewhat, but I’m glad we are finally going hands-on, since I think this Hamilton really is one of the better deals out there.

Measuring 40mm-wide and about 12.95mm-thick (though more with the matching green NATO strap seen here), the case is done in steel and sized pretty ideally with a lug-to-lug of 50mm. The 100M water resistance isn’t going to put this in the serious diver category, but it’s absolutely fit to be an everyday or weekend watch that you don’t need to worry about.

The hands and indices are lumed and highly legible, and I believe Hamilton has dual AR coating o..

As soon as this watch was released, I knew I had to line one up to review. I caught my first glimpse of this model in September when I visited Hamilton, but I wasn’t able to spend much time with it then. After the release, however, Hamilton kindly gave me one for a few days. Before I headed off to put the Hamilton Khaki Pilot Schott NYC through its paces, however, I got the chance to attend the launch event in New York.
