Will Swatch Group Brands Move To Geneva In 2021?

HomeWatch TalkWill Swatch Group Brands Move To Geneva In 2021? Watch TalkWill Swatch Group Brands Move To Geneva In 2021? The Baselworld aftermath in full swing by Robert-Jan Broer April 21, 2020 MIN READWill Swatch Group Brands Move To Geneva In 2021?When Swatch Group decided to pull out of Baselworld 2018, I expected that it would be the beginning of the end. “When Rolex pulls out as well, it is done,” I said numerous times.
And last week, not only Rolex (and Tudor) and Patek Philippe pulled out, but also LvmH made the decision to leave Baselworld. Also not totally unexpected, as Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of the Bvlgari Group told me in January that the reason for being in both Dubai and Baselworld, was a “contractual thing”. That all LvmH watch brands would be pulling out, was a bit of a surprise though. Oh, let’s not forget that Breitling also made an early move out of Baselworld.
Things will be very different from now on, and the annual pilgrimage to Basel — which I thoroughly en..

Swatch Reveals The New James Bond Watch Collection

HomeWatch ReleasesSwatch Reveals The New James Bond Watch Collection Watch ReleasesSwatchSwatch Reveals The New James Bond Watch Collection But is it to die for? by Rob NuddsFebruary 12, 2020 MIN READSwatch Reveals The New James Bond Watch CollectionThank goodness for Swatch. Whenever we might find ourselves taking everything a bit too seriously, everyone’s favorite plastic-peddler shows up with a joyous dollop of color to remind us that watchmaking is supposed to be fun. The new James Bond collection is exactly that.
The new James Bond film, No Time To Die, will mark Daniel Craig’s final outing as the British super-sleuth. To mark the occasion, Swatch has released six new watches. There’s some low-hanging fruit (hello Moonraker and Casino Royale), alongside some odder, niche choices (who would’ve predicted Licence to Kill and The World Is Not Enough making the cut when this idea hit the drawing board?).
Six new models will hit the market towards the end of February, a few weeks ahead ..

No need to take out your bank cards with these Swatch watches by Robert-Jan BroerFebruary 10, 2020 MIN READHands-On With The Swatch PAY!Swatch always brings back sweet memories. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, a lot of kids in school had them, in all sorts of colors. Over the last 20 years, the watch landscape has changed drastically and Swatch is not as disruptive as it used to be. Will the Swatch PAY! change that?
Swatch PAY! was introduced last year. In November the introductions took place in The Netherlands and Germany. As we’re big Swatch fans, we joined the Swatch PAY introduction in Amsterdam, which is closest to our headquarters. Together with ABN AMRO Bank — the first to support Swatch PAY! — the watch was explained and presented by Swatch Creative Director Carlo Giodanetti.

How does it work?Well, fo..
